9 Places You Should Visit In Ware

Ware is a town in Dorset, England. The town has many places to visit, including St Catherine’s Church, Angel’s Bridge and Norton Priory Gardens.

St Catherine’s Church

St Catherine’s Church is a large church that has been around for hundreds of years. It was built in 1662, and it has seen many different styles over the years. The building itself is beautiful and popular with tourists who come to see its architecture.

The history of this church goes back to when it was built by Sir John Vanbrugh, an architect who designed many famous buildings including Blenheim Palace (a palace owned by the Duke of Marlborough).

Angel’s Bridge

  • Angel’s Bridge is a medieval bridge in Ware, England. Located in the centre of town, it was built around 1350 and has a span of around 26 metres. It’s named after St. Catherine’s Church across from where it stands today and is also known as “Angel’s Bridge” due to its unusual shape (see below).
  • The bridge has been restored several times since its construction but still retains its original appearance with stone piers supporting arches above water level on both sides – making it one of only two medieval stone bridges left standing in their entirety across all of England!
