Basingstoke Carnival

The Basingstoke Carnival is a UK-wide event that takes place in August every year. The carnival includes live music and entertainment, as well as food stalls and rides for all ages. It’s also a family-friendly event, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained!

Basingstoke Farmers’ Market

The Basingstoke Farmers’ Market is held every Sunday from 9am to 1pm at the Railway Station.

Here you can buy fresh produce and local crafts, including handmade jewellery, ceramics, soaps and baked goods. It’s a great way to support local businesses while helping yourself to some healthy food too!

The market is located alongside the railway station car park on Station Road North which is near to Priory Lane where there are plenty of places for parking if you’re travelling by car or bus/train. You don’t need any special clothing as long as you avoid tights (they get stuck in steering wheels).

Basingstoke Food Festival

Basingstoke Food Festival is held at the Basingstoke Arts Centre. The festival has been running since 2011 and takes place during June. There are lots of activities for all ages, including cooking demonstrations, live music and a kids’ zone with food-themed activities for children aged five to 12 years old.

Basingstoke Fireworks

Basingstoke Fireworks is held on the last Saturday in July. The fireworks are launched from the Basingstoke Town Hall, and it’s an event not to be missed!

The event takes place from 6pm until 9pm, so you can enjoy some great entertainment before you head out to watch the show.

The Basingstoke Musical Festival

The Basingstoke Musical Festival is a great way to spend a weekend and relax after work. The festival has been running for over 30 years, and it’s one of the best events in Basingstoke!

The festival takes place every June at the Basingstoke Showground, where you’ll find all kinds of music acts performing on different stages throughout the day. There are also plenty of activities for kids, including face painting and balloon modelling.

Haycraft Gardens Fireworks and Concerts

Haycraft Gardens is a beautiful garden, which is open to the public. It has a number of events throughout the year and it’s also popular with locals and visitors alike. If travelling by car then we recommend taking A38 towards Southampton via Alton or A31 towards Portsmouth via Fareham & Havant – these routes pass through Haycraft Gardens on their way into Basingstoke town centre so they’re well worth checking out before booking your trip!

St Mary’s Church in Basingstoke

You’ll find St Mary’s Church in Basingstoke town centre, a Grade I listed building built between 1868 and 1870. The church is open to the public and can be visited by appointment. It’s a place of worship for all denominations: Anglican, Catholic and Methodist communities alike use this beautiful building every Sunday morning.
